It started with one girl. Her over-exposure to crime, drugs and prostitution and under exposure to positive images, academic success and high self esteem, moved me to act.  At first, it was just improving the outside as a way to improving the inside, but it soon became much more. In 2002, we started by bringing a few girls together for hair and spa services. Anyone who has visited a salon understands the special bond between client and stylist. Diane and her stylist team use this bond to mentor and encourage the Cinderella Girls.  The personal relationship between the stylists and the girls has laid the groundwork for the Cinderella Foundation to provide everything from positive role models, school supplies, medical services and much more.

Today the program works with girls through ongoing mentoring, academic enrichment and strengthening their self-esteem. Our goal is to develop a self-confident, well-mannered, well-informed young woman and prepare her to achieve success in all future endeavors.
